I got complimentary king room with bath for a soak as an upgrade, nice gesture. The location was particularly good and absolutely perfect for me as it was close enough to food places and Hastings and Eastbourne. ...

Lovely hotel with a friendly service, spent my time lovely here. The location was convenient for Hailsham, not far from Brighton, the centre of Hailsham-property and shop. Besides, the hotel was 3 km away from Arlington Stadium. ...

The hotel was clean with neat rooms and exceptional staff. Central heating, an iron with ironing board, coffee and tea making equipment were provided for a very very good stay for a bank holiday weekend. The location was peaceful, not too far from Christchurch. You could walk to shops and various stores. No complaint, the venue met requirements.

Judith
The breakfast was gorgeous and great with jam and toast & jam and eggs on toast and had something for everyone. Our location was particularly good and unbeatable right by the sea.
Disappointing aspect was tired bathroom.

We had a lovely stay at this comfortable hotel. The room was a decent size and the breakfast was gorgeous. The service was friendly, and the location was lovely, near the countryside, the alley, and Down market.

On the high st. so could browse shops and walk to restaurant. Good breakfast.
Even for money £60 b&b, was scruffy, small room, and opposite church - bells ring twice hourly throughout night - think this could be mentioned!
-
missing
comfortable double bed (not 2 singles pushed together)
too noisy (street noise from church bells ringing every half hour throughout the night; creaky floorboards + a thoroughfare outside our door meant a poor night's sleep - a fire door kept banging shut every time someone passed).

Colin
The rooms here are a great deal and come with spacious bathrooms, plus the location is perfect in the town center, and the staff are really competent and helpful.
